homecoming

Anber started at a brand new high school this year and is having alot of fun making new friends. Since she is only 15 and cannot date yet her and several friends met at the school for the homecoming dance. She had a blast but dang it they just grow up too fast!

Labor day

For labor day this year we went up to the Brimhalls for a bbq and swimming. The kids all had alot of fun playing with cousins and jumping off the side of the pool too daddy.

makin bread

Since we bought a new bosch back in Feb we've been making bread and homemade pizza. We got the best recipe from my sis n law and we get 3 large pizzas, 72 rolls and 1 loaf of bread! Most weeks we make white bread but when we do wheat Steve ges the wheat grinder out so we can have fresh ground wheat flour. Down side....its such a messy process, atleast he has the vacuum out to clean up!

1st day of 1st grade

Grandma Packers Bday

My mom says that everytime she takes a picture of grandma her eyes are closed. Ha! I have 2 with them open! Her bday is in May but I wanted to post her open eyes & smiling face!

Gabe turns 7!!!

My buddy turned 7 the end of July but i had to post these pictures of him cuz he is just too darn cute!! My favorite is the last one, he was sooo excited to get a new gameboy. he broke his other one about a year ago, he thought he could use it to crack open a pecan nut!!

Oh sweet Beth

The kids found a bird egg today that had fallen off the barn. They wanted to try to hatch it so they put it in a bowl with towel and had a lamp on it. Well Beth decided she wanted to see the bird inside the egg and broke it open....needless to say we won't have a baby bird.

Big Change....

Well I'm REALLY behind on posting and I need to get caught up, so here it goes...

When Steve and I got married 19.5 yrs ago he was in the Army and served in Desert Storm. Soon after he came home we got out of the military and headed home to Arizona. We were only here a couple weeks when he got hired at TRW Safety Systems. TRW was a great company to work for til the last couple of years, with economy slowing down so was the sale of cars. They had started making cutbacks and employees had to take mandatory time off....unpaid.

Then out of the blue Steve gets a call for a phone interview, it wentreally good so they called back and wanted a personal interview. From the first call till the 'YOU GOT THE JOB' call was only one week. Steve turned in his 2 week notice and we were very excited and very nervous about the changes that were taking place in our lives. After 18 yrs of being employed at TRW Steve started a new job with Sun Life Family Health Center in Casa Grande.

On March 31st Steve only had a 15 min drive to work instead of 1 hour 15 mins, he's happy where he is AND I get to see him during the day to just say 'hi' or grab some lunch.

Ok little Miss Kortney has been hinting for months that she wanted to be potty trained so I finally decided I was ready. Yesterday was her 1st day and she only had one full on accident! She insisted on putting her panties on herself after each bathroom trip and those cute cheekers were hanging out every time! Oh I love that baby!!

Prom

So Meghan, John and a couple of friends went to prom this last Friday. She had a good time and was even home on time:)
 
 
 

Birthday Girls...

On march 7th Bethani turned 4 and March 9th Kortney turned 2. On Beths bday we took the kids and let them play at the park since we planned a family/friend party at a park in Gilbert on Korts bday. The girls had a blast playing and opening their gifts.

What a guy.....Part 2

mom of the year award...NOT

so miss Bethani is a sleep walker and this is
where she ended up last night.

She also talks in her sleep, right now shes telling
me about fixing her bike

then she lays back down sound asleep!

Now heres the mom of the year part...you don't

bug or move Beth once she falls asleep. If you do

she kicks, yells and has a total fit! So I decide to

leave her on the stairs(she is only like 2 stairs up).

BAD idea about 15 mins later we hear this crash and

her screaming, I don't know if she rolled or just got

up and didn't know where she was but she was freakin!

It took us a quite awhile to get her calmed down. Then

this morning I noticed she has a small cut on her chin

and just below her lip! Yep, bad mom!!

Last Saturday I was in the backyard painting 200
pieces of wood for a RS project while the kids were
playing. Our horse is like a huge kid cuz she always
wants to be where everyone else is. She is very gentle
with the little ones and will nudge them to pet her

etc. so Sandy was loving them being up on the fence

getting all of their attention.

What a guy!!

So I have this teenager(Anber) that loves to read but doesn't take care of my books so I told my awesome hubby I needed a new bookshelf for in our room. So he started building it for me and this is the half finished project. Yeah I can't wait!

Well it's 12:45 am and I can't to sleep there is just too much crap rolling in my head! We found out on when I went in for a dr appointment Wednesday that I had lost the baby. This makes miscarriage #2 in the last 14 months! My body hadn't realized the baby was gone and Dr. Bowen felt it would be atleast another month till it did. so I went in for another D&C today. For those of you who knew thank you for your support and prayers.

Snow!!

We had a nasty cold storm come in last night

it left the top of this mountain with SNOW!

It's still stinkin cold out side but by 1:30 it had
already started to melt. This mountain is only
a few miles away from our home, we've been
here almost 3 yrs & this is first time its been
snowed on! BRRRR!!
