Tractor time means.....

NO more weeds! Yay!! It also means green since we're planning on planting alfalfa in the lots in front of our home. I can't wait, I'm sooo sick of looking out my front windows and only seeing the brown yucky dirt.

love 'em

This is the scene most nights, all 3 of these cute little people end up in my bedroom by morning. I really wonder why we built a house with enough rooms for everyone!?!

Grandpa Update

Well after the doctors put all of the info together they found that grandpa had been having a moderate heart attack since Saturday! So they scheduled him at the Cath Lab to see what damage had been done and to have stints put in at 5:00 yesterday. The dr expected to get in there and find that his previous bypass had given out since they only last about 10 yrs. but, he said they looked like they had just been put in the day before. He did find that one of the arteries on the back side of the heart was 99% closed! So he had to put 2 stints in it to get it open, it will take about 6 months before they'll know if its permanent. In the meantime Gale is gonna have to slow down and act his age. He is 73 but is more physically active than most half his age so it'll be a hard thing for him. We are grateful that they got him to the hospital and that he's gonna recover and be with us awhile longer.

Grandpa Brimhall is sick...

About 12 yrs ago Gale was having a heart attack for an entire day and he ended up having to have a quadruple bypass. Since then he's done pretty good and has managed to stay out of the hospital till today. While we were in church today we received several calls from Steve's brother and sister saying Gale was in the ER. So I skipped a meeting, we took the kids home and headed up to the valley. They found he has pneumonia and his blood work came back that his heart enzymes are elevated. Most likely its elevated from the lack of oxygen from the pneumonia's but, he is being admitted to the heart hospital till they make sure he's a ok! So much for my Sunday afternoon nap....but we're grateful he's geting the meds he needs, since he's already buggin to get back on the tractor!
